hump day, list day

I've been taking photos of other people lately. I like this time of year because my camera gets a hell of a work out and I get to edit photos like a crazy woman.

This week's list is my favorite three photos from "client" shoots this past month. Looking forward to this season of photography!

1. My hairdresser, Mario Gross, who is about to publish a book -

2. This woman's head wrap from a recent birthday party (and the look on the guy's face next to her). I think she is so brave and so elegant for wearing this -

3. This little girl holding a balloon. Because I'm a sucker for kids and balloons -

Continuing along my "weird stuff found on the Internet" theme, this week's list is all about the 6 strangest things I've come across on my beloved Pinterest.

Gun hair dryer. #1 on my list of odd things found while searching beauty tools on Pinterest -

Found these furry alpacas while searching for scarves -

This came up as a related item when I pinned the taxidermy hamster from last week's list -

A sloth wearing pajamas when I searched for pjs for my kids -

  via

A unicorn headband when I searched for rainbow themed birthday parties -

And my favorite! I don't recall what I was searching for or pinning when these gems popped up but can we say Christmas gift?

This week's list is comprised of my top 4 weird Etsy finds. All of this started by searching "keepsakes" on Etsy.

A vial of your human teeth, not just any human teeth, came up on the first page of my search within Etsy -

After clicking on the vial of teeth, Etsy presented me with this ring made of vertebrae because I seemed interested in wearing teeth around my neck -

Somehow, now I've lost track, but my Etsy search has resulted in dead animals, starting with a monkey in a jar that you can purchase

And finally, the icing on the cake of weirdness, I stumbled (frightened) across the taxidermy hamster in a custom made "somewhere over the rainbow" coffin. Keep in mind, unlike the vial of teeth, this is not YOUR dead hampster. It belongs to someone else who thought up this crafty knick knack -

All of this fits nicely with the spooky and weird month of October, doesn't it?
