I have a favorite social media site. It's hard for me to admit this. I'd rather choose a favorite child than pick a favorite photo sharing site but here it goes.
I love Instagram the most.
Here are my top 3 reasons for loving it:
1. It's just photos. No status updates, advertisements (yet), or other clutter for my racing mind. Just pretty photos.
2. It's simple to use. Open, scroll through photos, hit the heart for photos you like. Boom.
3. I use it as a digital photo album or story of my every day life now. I like to look back on the photos from the past 12 months and watch my life flip by, one square at a time.
As part of my happiness blog tour, I'm bringing you some of my favorite Instagrammers and my reasons why. Check them out. Or don't. Whatever floats your digital boat.
This woman hit viral madness by posting photos of her rescue dog and toddler napping together. #TheoandBeau I can't get enough.
Aggregated photos of the most beautiful places from my home state. (This particular photo is very near where Rich and I grew up.)
This photographer and I have very different lifestyles, she homeschools her kids in Oklahoma and just recently adopted a beautiful little girl from China. Her photos of her simple, slower paced life with a vintage feel stop me in my tracks. Like this one of her chicks.
Tara is a SoCal photographer with a hippie heart and bohemian aesthetic. A girl after my own (fantasy decorating) heart. Her photos push me to look at my environment differently and to use color better and more subtly.
